Every animal producer have problems in counting their herd or a group of animals. The solution for this is a new product from satconsystem - the Animal Counter!
It’s not easy to count and identify a herd of Cattle, Sheep, Pig, Rein Deer and etc. Animals get equipped with Active RFID Tag as Ear Tag or Collar Tags. All RFID Tags will send the pre programmed Tag Number and/or Tag Name back to the reader in every 1 – 5 seconds intervals. All the Tags will have life span of minimum 5 years (Patented). The range of the transmitting and receiving the signal is around 200 meters.
The RFID Antenna will be connected to a controller box which will translate the Tag Numbers and/or Tag Names in to a text format to be read with a Laptop or PDA. With the Animal Counter software it will be possible to know the quantity of the animals plus it will be possible to check and sync the animal’s Tag Number/Name with existing database.
The Animal Counter can be used for Government’s Subsidy Check, Traceability of animal transport and etc. For customers without EU-VAT No. there will be an extra charge of 19 % German VAT!
