Scope

Users receive information through this privacy policy about the nature, extent, and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider. The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

In this case, the personal data transmitted with the email will be stored. There is no disclosure of this data to third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.

The processing of personal data from the input form is solely for the purpose of handling the contact request. Cookies and Right to Object to Direct Advertising

“Cookies” are small files that are stored on users’ computers. Different information can be stored within cookies. A cookie primarily serves to store information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is stored) during or after their visit to an online offering. Temporary cookies, or “session cookies” or “transient cookies,” are cookies that are deleted after a user leaves an online offering and closes their browser. For example, the contents of a shopping cart in an online store or a login status can be stored in such a cookie. “Permanent” or “persistent” cookies are cookies that remain stored even after the browser is closed. For instance, the login status can be saved if users revisit the site after several days. Similarly, the interests of users can be stored in such a cookie, which may be used for measuring reach or marketing purposes. “Third-party cookies” are cookies provided by parties other than the controller operating the online offering (if it’s only the controller’s cookies, they are referred to as “first-party cookies”).

The website may use both temporary and permanent cookies, and we provide information about this in our privacy policy.

If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are requested to disable the corresponding option in their browser’s system settings. Stored cookies can be deleted in the browser’s system settings. The exclusion of cookies may result in functional limitations of this online offering.

Users can object to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes, especially in the case of tracking, through the U.S. website www.aboutads.info/choices or the EU website www.youronlinechoices.com. Furthermore, the storage of cookies can be disabled by adjusting the browser’s settings. Please note that not all functions of this online offering may be available if cookies are disabled.

Collection of Access Data and Log Files

Our hosting provider collects data on each access to the server hosting this service, based on its legitimate interest (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of its services within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These data are referred to as server log files. The access data includes the name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, transferred data volume, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.

Collection and Processing of Data by Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

This website uses Google Analytics’ demographic features, which use data from interest-based advertising by Google and visitor data from third-party providers (e.g., age, gender, and interests). This data is not attributed to a specific person and can be disabled at any time through the ad settings.

However, this website has enabled IP anonymization, so your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and truncated there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to fully use all the features of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser Add-on for Google Analytics deactivation. You can also prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following  link . An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.

More detailed information on Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

We would like to emphasize once again that Google Analytics on this website has been enhanced with the IP anonymization method to ensure the anonymous collection of IP addresses (known as IP masking).

Integration of Third-Party Services and Content

Within our online offering, we use content or service offerings from third-party providers based on our legitimate interest (i.e., interest in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”).

This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users because they could not send the content to their browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the purpose of delivering the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. The “pixel tags” can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on the user’s device and may contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, visit time, and other information about the use of our online offering, as well as be linked to such information from other sources.

Google Maps

We integrate the maps of the “Google Maps” service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. More detailed information on Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Changes or Updates

Additionally, as a user, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected, as well as the right to have your personal data blocked or deleted, provided there is no legal obligation to retain such data.

Data Deletion

The data processed by us will be deleted or restricted in its processing in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the GDPR. Unless expressly stated in this privacy policy, the data stored by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for its intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain it. If the data is not deleted because it is required for other legally permissible purposes, its processing will be restricted. This means that the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes. This applies, for example, to data that must be retained for commercial or tax law reasons.

According to legal requirements in Germany, the retention period is in particular 6 years according to § 257 para. 1 HGB (commercial books, inventories, opening balance sheets, annual financial statements, commercial letters, accounting documents, etc.) and 10 years according to § 147 para. 1 AO (books, records, management reports, accounting documents, commercial and business letters, documents relevant for taxation, etc.).

Log file information is stored for a maximum of 7 days for security reasons (e.g., to investigate misuse or fraudulent activities) and is then deleted. Data whose further retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident is finally clarified.

Data Minimization

We store personal data in accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data minimization, only for as long as necessary or as required by law (legal retention period). Once the purpose of the collected information is no longer applicable or the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

In order to ensure that our privacy policy always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the privacy policy needs to be adapted due to new or revised services, such as new service offerings. The new privacy policy will take effect on your next visit to our website.

SSL Encryption

We would like to inform you that when sending messages via the online form or email, the transmission of data over the internet is secured and encrypted (SSL).

Right to Information

You have the right to request information at any time about the data stored regarding your person, including their origin, recipients, and the purpose of storage. Upon written request, we will gladly provide you with information about the data stored about you.
